The Buddhism in Thailand is one of its kind. It is not the same as in India or Sri Lanka or Cambodia. It has many spiritual rites in them and many superstition is still around in Thailand. Spirits are everywhere good or bad ones. Respect the wat the Thai are believing this and you will be rewarded by luck and many more.
